Wolverine deadpool the decoy

I saw the cover of this comic and decided I had to get it. I love Deadpool his such a nut! You know if Deadpool is in it it has to be good. He tends to make the comic. I haven't ran into a bad comic with Deadpool yet and I hope I don't have to.


The comic starts out with Wolverine fighting a big alien robot that came from outer space. Of course when a robot comes down from space it tends to kill people and destroy a town or two which it did. Wolverine can't eat it because it's focused on killing Jean Grey, a girl from the X men I'm pretty sure he dated since he talks about how much feelings he still had for her even thought she died. The robot leaves him on the ground beaten up and Logon decided he can't do this alone. He could walk away but if he does a lot of people will die due to the robot looking for a person that is dead or he can get someone dumb e ought and that can deal with pain to distract the robot so he can rip it apart. Well..... I'm sure you guessed he went to deadpool and right away its funny.




Logon goes to Deadpool's house when his singing in the shower and scares him. Thus begins his craziness. He wouldn't cover his junk even when Logon asks him too and takes a shower with his mask on. Who does that? He decides to take the job so they both go and fight the robot Deadpool and Wolverine style. Funny parts throughout the battle and even some good fighting panels. There is an extra at the end of the book I think based on the old deadpool comics I thought was good.





Now would I recommend this book to someone? Yes I would! If you like a good laugh or are a deadpool or even a wolverine fan I would pick up a copy. I don't think it's hard to find and worth your money. You won't be disappointed.

Avengers earth's mightiest hero episode

When I first started watching this show I watched the first episode and decided I didn't want to watch anymore because I didn't care much for Toney Stark's (iron man's) voice. A few day's later I decided to give it a second chance because you can't alway judge something just because you don't like one voice so I watched the episode over again. After watching a bunch I really liked it and the voice did kind of grow on me. Heck even ant man was in it!!! This was awhile back when the show came out.



I haven't watched it in awhile so I decided to watch season one again excited to get to season 2. Why not start with season 2 then? Well I wanted to refresh my head with the older episodes even though I knew what happened in them. I finally got to season 2 and was excited to watch episode 5 To steal an ant man. I was so excited to watch it because I knew Scot Lang would probably steal Hank's ant man costume in the episode and I was right!





In the beginning it shows a bunch of money shrinking by some Pym particles in a bank by "Ant man". Hank comes back to the Avengers mansion to pick up his lab and clean up the rest of his science stuff. You can tell by the way his talking that his acting different or like in the comics his getting sick. What I mean by sick is that his starting to go a little coo coo and is soon going to be yellow jacket. Janet is giving him a hard time and just doesn't get that Hank doesn't want to be an Avenger anymore due to it just being an endless cycle of fighting and getting others hurt.




Now first off I have to say I actually like Janet in the cartoon. I prefer her over the one in the Comic but my only thing with her is I hate how she always yells at Hank and treats him like crap. It kind of makes me mad because she blames it on Hank's science and him not caring about her. Hello open up your eyes woman! The one in the comic I can't stand at all. The first several issues I read with her in it and Hank were fine but I felt that she started becoming obsessive with him. I'm glad Hank bitch slapped her in the comics she really needed that. The other peon I don't like in the show is Maria Hill. She acts like she's in high command and acts like she owns the city and the Avengers. I can't wait to see the episode where Nick Furry comes back and yell's at her but I'm not too sure about that. Nick does seem to disappear a lot and never returns. I haven't read much of her in the comics so I can't say much about her there.

So as his leaving the mansion he see's the news footage of the robbery on the tv when Janet is still yelling at him and leaves quickly to find out the suite is stolen. He picked up his Avengers card that he still kept and called Janet to ask for help but of course she still yells at him. He says his sorry about everything and hangs up. What a bitch move Janet. I so hope Hanks slaps you in the show too. Not wanting to get any help from the avengers he calls up and number that can help you find whatever you need. The people he called up were the superheroes called Luke Cage and Iron Fist. I know about Luke but man, Iron fist is awesome! They agree to help and to shorten this up a bit they find him and figure out that his a janitor at the school and he knew that Hank had the outfit so he took it. He was a criminal before and used the money he stole to pay for an expensive surgery for his daughter Cassandra Lang. The criminals wanted the money back because they had his daughter captive. Getting her back and fighting the guys Hank says he can keep the identity of Ant man and slowly walks away.

Well overall I thought the episode was good. I got another hero added to my hero's that caught my eye list which I have to research about more and I also got to watch a really cool ant man episode knowing what will come in the future. My only thing I had with it is I wished It went off the comic a little more. I really loved the comic story of Scott Lang stealing the suite and trying to find the Dr to do the surgery on his daughter. I thought that was the best and I thought that's what the episode was going to kind of look like but you know, things can't always be based off of comics exactly (maybe to a point but I don't know). So if I had a choice I would of loved to watch an episode based off of those issues. So for now if your an Ant man fan like me ( some aren't 0_e ) check the episode out or better yet check that out and the comics! You won't be disappointed at all! Also check out the Avengers Earth's mightiest heroes show. They also have comics based on it. I only have 2 or 3 but I'm hoping to get them all :)

Backlash

I haven't done a comic review for a long time so I thought what the heck I'll do a few this week. I got told to read this comic by a friend just to try it out and I have to say it was pretty tuff. I only read a few pages I just couldn't read any more of it.



I'm normally not one to set a comic down. I'll read it if I have to or if someone really wants me to but I just couldn't read the rest of this comic. It reminded me of X force maybe the Rob Liefeld one (haven't read any of them, not going to but I've seen them) or the other X force. The art style is what gets me I think. I love to look at a good comic with art that people took time to draw. Not saying they didn't but I feel that they could of taken more time to draw it or got (no offense) better artists to draw the work.

As any good artist they know it takes time to draw a good picture. Heck I've even drawn a really good picture just to see it torn up or even ruined in the end. It sucks too! I'm just saying more time could of been done with that. The other thing about it is that it reminds me of the Rob style or look. It doesn't have the deformed body look just the face style and the way the artist drew it.



I read a few x men and the non Rob Liefeld X force and I felt the same way about them too. I guess there not my type of comic. I'll just stick to the ones I like but if your interested in this type of comic please check it out. I was probably no help to you but hey at least I gave my opinion on it :)

Safe and sound

I heard this song on pandora one day and thought it was really good. I told my sister to listen to and and got her hooked on it so much she bought it. She showed me the video to it and I have to say it kind of made me sad and happy at the same time. The video shows people dancing and war going on. I also really like the dances they have. Why cant we dance like that anymore? Its just grinding and stuff now. Back then I feel they had more fun at dances. Looks fun too! The lyrics also talk about that no matter what you'll always be safe and sound :)

Daft punk

It's almost here! Daft punk's cd is coming out next month :D I'm so excited too! They released one of the songs on the cd and it was good to me. If you haven listen to them your missing out. They basically started Dubstep and to many are one of the best even though they keep quiet a lot. If you want to listen to them here are some songs you should type up and listen to: Face to face, technological, one more time, human after all and robot rock. Hero's that caught my eye #12

I actually couldn't remember this hero's name for the longest time. I remember when the movie came out for Daredevil. My sister and I always knew him as the blind hero that kicked ass! Now if you can remember something like that years before you started to like superhero's then they definitely have to be someone that caught your eye.


Matt Murdock also know as Daredevil grew up in Hell's Kitchen NY. His eye sight was taken from him by a radioactive substance making him blind. With no sight Matt learned to use his other senses instead and realized his senses are beyond a normal humans. With that in mind he trains himself to use them for fighting and to find anything he needs. Jack Murdock Matt's father was killed when he was a kid because he wouldn't throw a fight for some mobsters. Matt latter gave himself the identity Daredevil and seeks out revenge on the people that killed his father.




I have a few comics of daredevil and his a really interesting comic character I think. The new comic by Mark Waid I think are really good. I have the first eight of them and I haven't been disappointed with them yet. I also have two trades my sister got me one with Elecktra. I don't like that girl very much. She likes to play with Matt's feelings and as I said before I hope she dies ( i think she does too :D )

Hero's that caught my eye # 11

Ted Kord also know as the blue beetle is probably one of my favorite original crime fighting people. He mostly uses his combat skills to fight and occasionally uses weapons like his gun that shoots strong blasts of air and also can blind people with high flashes of light.



The Blue Beetle before him saved his life and to keep the blue beetle name going Ted felt it was his responsibility. Taking the Blue beetle identity he started fighting crime. To travel around, he flys in his flying beetle or as I call it " the beetle mobile". The thing looks really cool! Who wouldn't want a ride in one of these!



Later in his crime fighting career Ted joined the JLA and was partnered with Booster Gold. The two of them quickly became friends. Both of them tend to make jokes and say stupid things at the wrong times but that's what makes the comics funny. The two of them are always finding trouble to get into.

Ted's career as a superhero ended later due to Maxwell Lord. Ted found out something he wasn't so post to and went after it. You can find the story in the book below. Ted was an awesome hero and will be missed by all. Another person took over Blue beetles identity then. My friend really likes him prob because of his high tech outfit and all. I haven read his story but his not going to be as good as Ted Kord I bet you that.

Villain's that caught my eye #11

I recently just heard about this villain from watching Avengers Earth's mightiest heroes. ( that show is awesome!) I was watching the first season again because its been awhile since I watched it and I wanted to refresh my head with the episodes so I can start watching the second season. I heard that Ant man turns into yellow jacket and goes crazy so I'm excited to start season 2 :D


Whirlwind I thought was really cool. His kind of like a speedster in the way that the air moves him really fast. Also a mutant, he was a bully growing up and since he knew about his powers this led him to become a villain breaking into stores and stealing anything he wanted. He was taken down by giant man and wasp which made him want revenge on them both for turning him in. Whirlwind truly hated them for taking him down and created the allis Charles Matthews. With this identity he became the wasps chauffeur just to get close to her and Hank. He then started getting obsessed with Janet wanting to know where she was all the time. Using his cover he gained access to the Avengers mansion and kidnapped the wasp but was then stopped by quicksilver.



Later he joined forces with the masters of evil, egghead and so on still hating Hank Pym and wasp. He still planned revenge on them. There's more to whirlwind as with any villain but if your interested look him up like I did or better yet pick up a comic with him in. That's what I'm gonna do :D

Villain's that caught my eye #10

Yellow jacket can be considered good and bad by everyone that knows about him. Originally Ant man, Hank Pym moved on to be Giant man, Goliath, Yellow jacket and so on. So why review the same guy again? Well since he has multiple identities (as does other heroes) I can have more people that can catch my eyes.


Hank was never crazy at first. He was a loving guy that cared a lot for Janet and would do anything for the avengers. He had an accident in his lab one day that cause him to loose his mind. Hank was working on a project and breathed in some chemicals that he really shouldn't of breathed in causing him to loose his sanity on top of his mental stress problems he was going through. At the time he wasn't in the avengers but decided to steal Janet. His plain was to force her to marry him but the other avengers jumped in and tried to bring his mind back around which they did.


Janet in the end still wanted to marry him and so they did. As time went on Hank had more stress problems. He had hit Janet really hard and during one of the Avengers battles he attacked the Elfqueen who was about to surrender. That was the last straw and the avengers then decided to do a court marshal with him due to his behavior. Hank decided It would be perfect if he built a big robot programmed to destroy the avengers and he would save the day by stoping it during the court marshal. The Wasp told everyone before things got too out of hand and then divorced with him later.



There's more with Hank's life I still haven't learned about or fully read about in the comics but I'm sure I can find stuff on him. ( hard to find ant man stuff though :P )

Empire of the sun Alive and Daft Punk

I was so excited today because Empire of the sun released the song Alive, one of there singles on there new album Ice on the Dunes a day early. It's kind of a tease because the album doesn't come out until June. I just recently became a fan of there music and I have to say not one song so far has let me down. Most people would never guess the music I listen too. At first glance people would think I listen to hard rock, metal or maybe even scream-o. I actually listen to the most random things ever. First off I don't really care much for rap, I'll listen to it if its on with my friends but I would have to listen to some songs for a bit to like it or find a rap song I like. I prefer Electronic/dubstep music from Deadmau5, Skrillex ( his really gone down hill lately) feed me and other artists. The weird music is Asain Kung fu generation, foster the people, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, Two door Cinema club and Coldplay ( with a few random songs here and there). Some people really hate Coldplay but I think there really good.

Daft punk another legendary band no one really hears about until now. I was also really happy because Daft punk has a new Cd coming out this month. Everyone around the work thought they were dead because the last we heard about these two electronic dj's was from the movie and soundtrack from Tron Legacy. They always wear there masks and never show there faces to anyone other then the ones wife and kids and prob to each other when taking a break. We only have pictures of them when they were teens before they decided to be robots. I'm waiting to hear what these two have come up with and hope to see the people behind the masks one day. I'm just glad there still around and didn't fade away into the dark music abyss never to return to us again.

Artist and art

I really love drawing pictures for people. I feel that by drawing them something it makes the person happy (by them getting something) and it also helps me to get new skills or practice shading, coloring or even just drawing. One of the major things you deal with in the art field is criticism on your art piece.





I take it pretty good at times but the other times I don't because I either don't like the people or don't really care what they have to say because I just don't feel like listening to them. I know it's something you should handle and I'm starting to get better at that and now. I'm taking in more of it from people too. I always like asking people if the drawing I'm doing looks good, needs something or looks off. They usually give me advise and tell me what I should add or fix, which is nice.






I really want to learn new ways to do drawings, painting or anything that seems interesting to me. I never really had the chance to learn much with the art teacher I had and have now. The other one right now in the high school is the best one I've went to that's actually helped me with my art. I also had one teacher in 8th grade that I only had for 2 semesters that gave me good advise too. You always got to look for someone to look up to with art that give you advise and shows you how to do things. I think I know some people but I would have to go to them more and try to go under there wings for more advise and stuff. Basically I've learned things on my own but its always good to learn things from others. You only get better if you practice and try your best!

Hero's that caught my eye #10

I'm actually shocked and surprise I didn't do Hank Pym. His my all time favorite hero! I mean by now people should of guessed that. Funny how I heard about him and he turned out to be my favorite hero. As you know I really wasn't into comics, watched superhero things but never thought much. Yea JLA and Batman were the shows! I loved watching them Saturday night while eating popcorn and junk food.



After watching Avengers on May 4th opening day I decided superheroes would be my new thing since I couldn't collect manga or watch anime due to my mother not liking it ( sucks but eh I'll watch it again one day). As I did some research I discovered that two original avengers aren't in the movie, Ant man and Wasp. Reading a lot about them I learned their powers and red a few comic blurbs too. I then decided I would tell everyone about this Ant man guy and tell them what I know. I spent so much time looking him and wasp up ( more so him) because of his powers. Shrinking down to the size of an ant, talking to them and even having them help you is fucking awesome!

From there I got my first ever Ant man comic down at C & C's comic cave because at the time I was going around looking for anyone that had any comics of him. They had one copy and latter as I came more often had more for me! Dimension X had no clue who the hell I was talking about and later still don't. ( don't go to they they don't know anything) If you want to hear about them check out myComic stores in general blog.

So Ant man was my hero and still is. I love reading anything with him in it and I really hope Marvel makes a comic just about him and maybe the wasp ( she's ok ). Plus I can't wait for the movie! Until then Keep calm and Ant man on!!!!

Villain's that caught my eye #9

Yea I know I already did a Loki Villain blog but who said I couldn't do one on kid Loki :P




Loki is on my top 3 fav villains and when I found kid Loki that made him even cooler! His still the bad ass he always is but just little. I first found out about him in Journey into mystery. His outfit is really cool and his personality I think is a bit more sour and only a bit sweet towards these 3 women that treat him as their kid. I kind of jumped into it but who says you have to start at the beginning most of the times. I'm sure I can find a trade or something for it.






Right now his in the Young Avengers which is another comic series that caught my eye because of Speed and Wiccan. In this comic he still acts the same but it seems that everyone knows his the real Loki just in kid form and treat him as an equal which is kind of funny. I mean they can turn him into the Avengers or to Thor but they don't. I'm sure I can pick up more comics with him in it and if your interested check out Journey into mystery or the new Young Avengers. If I like it you might!

Sonic and megaman

I've always loved sonic. One of my favorite games that I've played was Sonic heroes. The fact that you could play as four teams, all going after egg man with the same levels but different places within it blew my mind. It is really fun but some of the levels got hard at times or even pissed me off to the point I got a headache and just turned it off. Now that was a few years ago so I decided to take another go at the game. I did a few of the sonic levels and just turned it off because I got bored. It's not that the game was boring I just didn't feel like playing video games at that time.


My other favorite video game was Sonic riders. Man I rocked at that game! It's probably my favorite racing games. When you were playing it to me it felt like you were literally floating on one of those flying boards. Kind of like the back to the future skateboards.





My friend Chris recently told me to draw a Sonic worlds collide picture since he likes Sonic and Mega man and it turned out really good! The only problem I had was everyone asked me who the one guy was and I didn't know D:

How could you not know who your drawing? I don't know I never really go into Mega man but now I'm interested since I was looking up more pictures to draw. Sonic and Mega man people are actually really fun to draw other then drawing superheroes. I love drawing and always looking for new things to draw. It's always good to draw something new! :D

Hero's I don't really care for #2

I don't rally care for a lot of the girl superhero's and one on my top girl list is Elektra. I know a lot of people that don't like her too.

The first time I saw or even heard about her was a few years back when Daredevil came out. At the time I wasn't into superheroes like I am now and just watched it because it was a cool movie. I never remembered the name of Daredevil. (Not his real name his superhero name). Whenever my sister and I brought up the movie we always said that cool blind superhero. Just a way for us to remember it. Also the funny thing is at the time I still didn't like her.





She comes off as a goodie goodie that gets whatever she wants. I just watched the Elektra movie the other night with my sister and the whole time we were complaining and towards the end I actually threw empty water bottles at the tv saying the movie was a piece of crap. (Just for fun) Isn't she some really good ninja? What I saw was a whinny crybaby of a girl that doesn't know what to do with herself and acts like she knows everything and is better then everyone else. I mean she got her ass handed to her by an old man because she didn't want him telling the people she was going to kill that "Elektra" is a trained killer and that's her job. Who the hell cares and personally the one point she was going to die I said its about time.

I probably sound like a whinny person over a random comic character but I mean come on. She plays with Daredevil's feelings and thinks she can get away with it. That man is blind and prob can't see how she acts. ( Not even pretty too) No offense Matt but you can do way better. I hope she dies because I don't like her >:D
